Jack Thornton was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and, from an early age, discovered a deep-seated fascination with art. His earliest memories involve scrawling on paper with pen, giving shape to the inventions of his imagination. He received his first degree in Japanese from Portland State University and, returning to his original passion, earned his second degree in Arts, Media, and Technology at Oregon State University-Cascades.
